  1. 7 corn tortillas , cut in strips (or more)

  2. 1 small onion , chopped

  3. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic (from a jar)

  4. 1 tablespoon oil

  5. 1 can chopped green chili pepper

  6. 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth

  7. 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can chicken broth

  8. 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup

  9. 1 1/2 cups water

  10. 2 cups diced chicken (or more)

  11. 1 tablespoon steak sauce (any kind you like)

  12. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  13. 1 tablespoon ground cumin

  14. 1 tablespoon ground red chili powder

  15. 1/8 teaspoon paprika

  16. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  17. 2 cups shredded cheese

  1. Cut tortillas in 1/2" strips (set aside).

  2. Saute onion and garlic in oil.

  3. Add next 11 ingredients.

  4. Bring to boil.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer covered, 1 hour.

  6. Add tortilla strips and cheese.

  7. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

  8. Garnish with paprika.
