  1. 1 Chocolate or yellow cake mix

  2. Filling

  3. 8 oz 227g Cream cheese - softened

  4. 1 Egg - lightly beaten

  5. 1/3 cup 65g / 2 1/3oz Sugar

  6. 1 cup 110g / 3.9oz Semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Mix cake according to pkg. directions.

  2. Spoon batter into 24 greased or paper-lined muffin cups, filling two-thirds full.

  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth. Fold in the chips.

  4. Drop by tablespoonfuls into batter.

  5. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until cupcakes test done.
