  1. 1360.77 g boneless beef chuck roast , trimmed of fat

  2. 709.77 ml water

  3. 118 1/59 ml soy sauce

  4. 4.92 ml dried rosemary

  5. 4.92 ml dried thyme

  6. 4.92 ml garlic powder

  7. 1 bay leaf

  8. 8 French rolls or 8 hoagie rolls, split,buttered and toasted

  1. Place roast into slow cooker.

  2. Add water, soy sauce and seasonings.

  3. cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until beef is tender.

  4. Remove meat from broth, shred with forks and keep warm.

  5. Strain broth (if desired) and skim off fat.

  6. Serve beef on toasted rolls and pour broth into small cups for dipping.
