  1. 1/3 cup(s) cider vinegar

  2. 1/2 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes

  3. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  4. 2 cup(s) pulled pork

  5. 4 to 6 white buns

  6. 1 1/2 cup(s) grated white cabbage

  7. 1 grated carrot

  8. 1 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise

  9. 1/4 teaspoon(s) sugar

  10. 1 teaspoon(s) vinegar

  11. dash(es) salt

  12. pinch(s) pepper

  1. Combine the vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt, and pork in a saucepot. Heat on medium-low with the lid on for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the meantime, make the NC Slaw using the recipe on this page.

  2. To make the slaw: Stir all of the ingredients together until well combined.

  3. When the meat is ready, turn off the stove and build your sandwiches. For each sandwich, put a spoonful of barbeque and a spoonful of slaw between the two halves of a bun. I like to squish the bun down before taking a big bite.
