  1. 1/4 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

  2. 3 oz. cream cheese

  3. 1/2 cup butter

  4. 1 egg white, beaten stiffly

  5. 1 loaf unsliced sandwich bread

  1. M elt cheeses and butter in top of double boiler.

  2. Cool slightly. Fold egg white into cheese mixture.

  3. Remove crusts from bread and cube to 1 1/2 inches. Dip cubes in cheese, coating evenly.

  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 400 for 12 minutes or until brown. Serve immediately.
