  1. 1 pound mushrooms (any kind you like), sliced

  2. 4 Tbsp olive oil

  3. 2 garlic cloves , chopped or sliced

  4. 1/4 cup dry sherry wine

  5. 1/2 cup light cream

  6. salt and pepper to taste

  7. fresh parsley , cilantro or another herb for garnish

  1. Clean, peel and slice mushrooms (do not wash).

  2. Heat oil in skillet on medium. Add garlic and cook until golden.

  3. Add mushrooms, mix well and let cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. Pour sherry over mushrooms, stir and let alcohol evaporate (about 2 minutes).

  5. Add cream to mushrooms, mix. Boil for 1 minute on medium heat, stirring constantly. Salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Arrange on a serving plate and garnish with herbs.
