  1. 500g turkey breast, chopped

  2. cup fresh breadcrumbs

  3. 1 small onion, finely chopped

  4. 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

  5. 1 egg, lightly beaten

  6. 1 garlic clove, crushed

  7. 1 tablespoon oil

  8. 8 slices Swiss cheese

  9. 1 Turkish loaf, split, cut into cup cranberry sauce

  10. 100g packet snow pea sprouts

  1. In bowl, combine turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg and garlic. Mix well using clean hands. Season to taste. Divide into 8 even-sized flattened patties. Arrange on a tray and chill until required.

  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Cook patties in two batches, 5-6 minutes. Turn and top each with a cheese slice. Cook for a further 5-6 minutes. Drain on paper towel.

  3. Spread half the bread with sauce. Fill with patties and sprouts. Top each with a piece of the remaining bread.

  4. TOP TIP If liked, toast the bread before making the burgers.

  5. A few slices of dill pickle are a delicious addition to this burger. You can also use sliced brie instead of Swiss cheese.
