  1. 1 Pork butt roast - (abt 5 lbs)

  2. 4 tablespoons 60ml House Seasoning - (see recipe)

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Seasoned salt

  4. 4 tablespoons 60ml Liquid smoke

  5. (found in grocery store)

  6. 1 Onion - sliced (medium)

  7. 1 cup 237ml Water

  8. 3 Bay leaves

  9. Barbeque sauce of choice - for serving

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Sprinkle 1 side of the roast with 2 tablespoons of the House Seasoning, making sure to rub well. Flip the roast over and rub the remaining 2 tablespoons of House Seasoning. Repeat the process with the seasoned salt and liquid smoke.

  3. Place the roast in a large roasting pan. Add the onion, water and bay leaves to the roast. Place in the oven and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until thermometer reads 170 degrees. Let meat cool for a few minutes and then slice.

  4. Serve with your favorite barbeque sauce.

  5. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
