  1. Basmati rice - 2 cup

  2. Shredded cabbage - 1 cup

  3. Onion (big) - 2

  4. Tomatoes (ripe) - 3

  5. Green chillies - 3

  6. Coconut milk - 1 cup

  7. To paste:

  8. Ginger(small piece) - 1

  9. Garlic - 5 cloves

  10. Coconut (scrapings) - 2 tsp

  11. To season:

  12. Cinnamon - 2 pieces

  13. Cloves - 2

  14. Cardamom - 2

  15. Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tsp

  16. Oil - 2 tsp

  1. Wash and soak rice, chop onion finely and slit green chillies.

  2. Paste the given ingredients.

  3. In cooker heat ghee and oil; add onion and chillies and sauté well.

  4. When it is cooked, add the ground paste and sauté it.

  5. Add cabbage, tomatoes, salt and mix it.

  6. Add coconut milk and 2½ cups of water and soaked, drained rice. Close the cooker Cook till 1 whistle.

  7. Reduce the flame to sim and let it cook for 5 mins.
