  1. 1 pound cooked mixed meat beef, lamb, pork, chicken,, game, etc

  2. 1/2 gallon chicken broth

  3. 1/2 gallon beef stock prefer veal stock if possible

  4. 1 ounce worcestershire sauce

  5. 1 cup tomatoes diced

  6. 1 each onion large, diced

  7. 1 each celery diced

  8. 1 each green bell pepper diced

  9. 1 each potatoe diced

  10. 2 each carrots diced

  11. 1/4 cup green peas

  12. 1/2 cup okra

  13. 1/4 cup lima beans

  14. 1/2 cup yellow corn

  15. 2 teaspoons garlic minced

  16. 1 x salt and black pepper to taste*

  1. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, skimming the top as needed.

  3. Note: Many regional versions of this soup are thick enough to stand your spoon in.

  4. I developed this recipe to be a lighter first course soup.
