  1. 1 pound ground chuck

  2. 1 cup chopped onions

  3. 2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes

  4. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  5. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  6. 2 teaspoons salt

  7. 2 cups thinly sliced potatoes

  8. 1/3 cup flour

  9. 1 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels

  10. 1 1/2 cups frozen lima beans

  11. 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  12. 1 1/2 cups shredded process mild Cheddar cheese

  1. Heat oven to 375. Combine ground chuck, onion, tomatoes, Worcestershire, chili powder, and salt. Pat mixture into a 1-inch layer in a 3-quart casserole. Layer potatoes, flour, corn, lima beans, then green pepper. Cover and bake 45 minutes; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes longer, or until vegetables are tender.

  2. Hamburger Casserole serves 4 to 6.
