  3. 1 ounce Ginger root -- scrubbed/chunkd

  4. 3 Garlic cloves

  5. 1 teaspoon Chili peppers -- crushed

  6. --CHOP FINE AND ADD--

  7. 1 pound Tomatoes -- fresh or canned

  8. 1/2 pound Peanuts, dry roasted -- unsalt

  9. 1 Onion -- peeled and chunked

  10. --ADD TO POT, ALONG WITH--

  11. 12 ounces Chicken consomme

  12. 12 ounces Water

  13. 1 pound Chicken/turkey -- boned/diced

  14. 1 pound Tomatoes -- peeled and diced

  1. Heat to a slow boil, then simmer one hour or longer. Don't let mixture get too thick. Blend 2 T melted butter with flour to make a roux. Stir into soup. If soup gets too thick, add more water.
