  1. 600g turkey mince (or chicken mince)

  2. 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  3. 2 green onions (green shallots), sliced

  4. cup finely chopped fresh coriander

  5. 1 large red chilli, chopped finely

  6. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  7. 1 bunch chinese broccoli, trimmed,

  8. cut into 5cm lengths

  9. 400g fresh rice noodles

  10. 1/3 cup (80ml) sweet chilli sauce

  11. 2 teaspoons fish sauce

  12. cup (60ml) lime juice

  13. cup firmly packed fresh coriander leaves

  14. cup firmly packed fresh mint leaves

  15. 3 green onions (green shallots),

  16. sliced thinly, extra

  1. Combine the mince, garlic, onion, coriander and chilli in a large bowl; roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls.

  2. Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook meatballs until browned all over and cooked through. Remove from pan; cover to keep warm.

  3. Add broccoli stalks to same pan; cook, stirring, until just tender. Add leaves, cook, stirring, until tender.

  4. Meanwhile, separate noodles in a bowl of warm water; stand for 5 minutes.

  5. Combine noodles with broccoli, sauces, juice, herbs and extra onions.

  6. Serve noodles topped with meatballs.
