  1. 100 wonton skins

  2. 793.78 g ground pork

  3. 14.79 ml minced fresh ginger

  4. 4-5 fresh minced garlic cloves (or more or less to suit taste)

  5. 29 1/28 ml minced green onions

  6. 59.16 ml soy sauce

  7. 44 1/37 ml sesame oil (no substitutions, only sesame oil)

  8. 1 egg , beaten

  9. 1182.95 ml finely shredded Chinese cabbage

  1. In a large bowl, combine the uncooked pork, ginger, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg and cabbage; stir until well mixed.

  2. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of pork filling onto each wonton skin; moisten edges with water then fold edges over to form a triangle shape.

  3. Roll edges slightly to seal in filling.

  4. Set dumplings aside on a lightly floured surface until ready to cook.

  5. TO COOK: Steam dumplings in a covered bamboo or metal steamer (an electric veggie steamer works great also) for 15-20 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately with sweet and sour sauce.
