  1. 5 cups old-fashioned oats

  2. 1 1/2 cups roasted or raw almonds, chopped

  3. 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  4. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  5. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 cup honey

  8. 1/4 cup maple syrup

  9. 1/2 cup organic raisins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt. In a smaller bowl, mix together honey and maple syrup. Pour syrup mixture over oat mixture and stir until evenly coated.

  3. Spread granola on a baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cereal is toasted, stirring every 10 minutes during baking.

  4. Stir in raisins and allow granola to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to several weeks.
