  1. 20 mutton Chops or Ribs (800 gm)

  2. 6 tbsp oil

  3. 3 large onions

  4. 1 cup deep fried onion paste

  5. 1 large cup thick curd

  6. 5 tsp garlic paste

  7. 3 tsp ginger paste

  8. 1 1/2 tbsp Coriender/dhania powder

  9. 1 tsp chilly powder

  10. 30 gm cashew nut paste

  11. 15 clove

  12. 15 green cardamom

  13. 1/2 tsp javitri

  14. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

  15. salt and water

  1. Mix dhania and chilly powder in curd and keep aside.

  2. Heat oil in a pan put cardamam and cloves.

  3. Add chopped onions and fry till light brown.

  4. Add ginger and garlic paste, fry for two minutes.

  5. Add mutton and fry for 2 minutes on high flame.

  6. remove pan from the gas to cool a little, then add curd mix, fried onion paste and cashew naut paste, and fry for 3 minutes on reduced heat.

  7. Add 5 cups of water and salt, bring it to a boil, reduce heat and keep cooking stirring occasionally till meat is done.

  8. Gravy should be medium thick.

  9. Finely add garam masala and javitri-elaichi powder and cook for 5 minutes.

  10. garnish with chopped dhania Eat wit rice, rumali roti or tandoori roti
