  1. 1360.77 g boneless beef chuck roast

  2. 411.06 g can beef broth

  3. 29 1/28 ml dried basil

  4. 14.79 ml dried oregano

  5. 14.79 ml dried onion

  6. 22.18 ml salt

  7. 18.48 ml garlic powder

  8. 7 1/39 ml red pepper flakes

  9. 2-3 bay leaves

  10. 1 1/53 ml pepper

  11. 6 ciabatta or 6 sandwich buns

  12. pepperoncini pepper (for garnish)

  1. Place chuck roast in a slow cooker.

  2. Combine beef broth, basil, oregano, onion, salt, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, bay leaves and pepper.

  3. Pour over roast.

  4. Cook on low 8 to 9 hours.

  5. Serve as a roast, or slice or shred meat and serve with rolls for sandwiches.

  6. Garnish with pepperoncini if desired.
