  1. (Green gram) Moong dhal 1/2 cup

  2. Semolina 1/4 cup

  3. Grated coconut 1/2 cup

  4. Milk 1 cup

  5. Sugar 2 cups

  6. Water 1/2 cup

  7. Ghee 1/2 cup

  8. 1 tbsp.

  9. Cardamom Powder 1 tsp.

  1. Dry roasts the green gram dhal, soak in milk with the semolina and coconut for 30 minutes.

  2. Grind to a fine paste and keep aside.

  3. Heat water and sugar in heavy bottom pan until thick and syrupy.

  4. Add the ground paste, cook over low heat stirring constantly.

  5. When the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan, add ghee and cardamom pd.

  6. Cook for another 5 minutes, pour onto a greased plate, flatten and cut into squares.
