  1. 1 lb ground beef

  2. 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, in

  3. 1/4 in chunks

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1 garlic clove , minced

  6. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  7. 2 tablespoons basil , chopped

  8. 1/2 cup onion , diced

  9. 2 tablespoons oil

  10. 3 potatoes , cooked, peeled and sliced

  11. 4 ounces cheddar cheese , grated

  12. 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies , chopped

  13. 1 teaspoon salt

  14. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  15. 1/2 cup potato , mashed with

  16. 1/2 cup milk

  17. 2 ounces cheddar cheese , grated

  18. 3 garlic cloves , minced

  19. 1 egg , not beaten

  20. 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  1. Combine all crust ingredients and press into a 9 inch pie pan.

  2. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

  3. Remove from oven; set aside.

  4. For the filling, sauté garlic and onion in oil for 5 minutes.

  5. Combine the potatoes (reserving enough to make 1/2 cup mashed for the topping) and cheese with garlic and onion, chilies, salt and pepper.

  6. Mix well and spread over the beef crust.

  7. Combine all the topping ingredients and pour over the filling.

  8. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
