  1. 3 1/2 cup White flour

  2. 2 cups Whole wheat flour

  3. 1 cup Rye flour

  4. 1 cup Bulgur

  5. 1 cup Corn meal

  6. cup Instant dry milk

  7. 4 teaspoons Salt

  8. 1 Envelope dry yeast

  9. 1 cup Warm water

  10. 3 cups Beef or chicken broth

  11. 3 tablespoons Butter flavor Crisco

  12. 1 Egg; lightly beaten with

  13. 1 teaspoon Milk

  1. Put white flour, wheat flour, rye flour, bulgur, corn meal, dry milk and salt into a bowl. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water (110 degrees to 115 degrees). Add yeast to dry ingredients. Add broth to flour mixture. Stir until dough forms. Roll out dough to ¼-inch thickness. Using a large dog biscuit for a mold, cut out shapes. Grease cookie sheet with the Crisco. Place biscuits on cookie sheet. Brush on egg glaze. Bake 45 minutes. Turn off heat. Leave in oven overnight to harden.
