  1. Chicken 1/2 kg ( small pieces )

  2. Basmati Rice 3 cups

  3. Tomatoes 1 pound

  4. Coriander powder 2 tsp

  5. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp

  7. Salt 1 tsp

  8. Garam Masala 1/2 tsp

  9. Ginger minced 1 tsp

  10. Garlic minced 1 tsp

  11. Green Chillies 2

  12. Saffron 1 pinch

  13. Onion 1/2

  14. Cooking oil 3 tbsp

  1. soak 3 cups of basmati rice for 2 hour

  2. soak 1 pinch of saffron in warm water

  3. put the chopped tomatoes in the pot

  4. then add the chicken

  5. now add the masalas, ginger, garlic, coriander powder, red chili powder,chili pepper and turmeric

  6. close the lid and cook it for 30min

  7. no need to add any water

  8. the water from tomato and chicken will come out within 7-8 mins and cook it

  9. start boiling the water for rice

  10. add 3 green cardamom and 2 cloves for the flavor

  11. now add the rice

  12. add 1tsp of salt

  13. as soon as the rice starts first boil turn of the heat and drain the water from the rice

  14. now the water from the chicken is gone and it is ready

  15. now it is time to assemble the chicken with the rice

  16. put the chicken in a ovenproof dish

  17. put little bit of coriander leaves and mint on the chicken

  18. now cover it with rice

  19. now pour the saffron through out the rices

  20. now fry 1/2 of an onion thinly sliced

  21. when it will become golden brown pour the mixture of onion and oil on the rice and chicken

  22. cover the dish with foil

  23. now put the dish in oven for 40 minutes

  24. now put the dish out

  25. nice smell will come out

  26. now mix the rice and chicken

  27. it is now ready to serve
