  1. Tomato juice- 1 cup

  2. Salt - 1 teaspoon

  3. Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

  4. Garlic - 2 cloves, minced

  5. Dry mustard - 1 1/2 teaspoons

  6. Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 teaspoon

  7. Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon

  8. Red wine - 1/2 cup

  9. Short ribs - 3 pounds

  1. GETTING READY 1. Preheat the grill MAKING 2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except ribs and mix well.

  2. Pour the mixture over the ribs and set aside to marinate for twenty minutes in a refrigerator.

  3. After twenty minutes or overnight, remove ribs, and drain well. Place ribs on a hot grill and cook over hot coals for about 30 minutes. Turn and baste frequently with the marinating sauce.

  4. SERVING 5. Serve hot with cold salad.
