  1. 2 tablespoons butter

  2. 3 to 4 medium kohlrabi

  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  4. 1 cup chicken broth, or to cover

  5. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  6. Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Slice kohlrabi into thin strips. Saute kohlrabi in the butter with garlic for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add chicken broth and lemon juice. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until kohlrabi is tender. Add salt and pepper, to taste.

  2. Serves 4.
