  1. Bread

  2. 1 cup/250 mL brewed

  3. 3/4 cup/180 mL raisins

  4. 3/4 cup/180 mL craisins (dried sweetened cranberries)

  5. 1 cup/250 mL sugar

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1/4 cup/60 mL Original Grapeseed Oil

  8. 2 cups/500 mL flour

  9. 1 tsp/5 mL Baking Powder

  10. 1/4 tsp/1 1/5 mL baking soda

  11. 1/2 tsp/2 1/2 mL salt

  12. Cooking Spray

  13. Honey-Lemon Butter

  14. 1/2 cup/125 mL softened butter

  15. 2 tsp/10 mL honey

  16. 1/2 tsp/2 1/2 mL Lemon Peel

  1. Bread The night before: put brewed Chai in a large bowl along with dried fruits and sugar. Let stand covered overnight. The next morning: Beat egg and grapeseed oil together and stir into Chai/fruit mixture. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to fruit batter; stir until blended. Spoon into a loaf pan coated with Watkins Cooking Spray. Bake at 350ºF/180ºC for 50 to 60 minutes.

  2. Honey-Lemon Butter Whip together ingredients for Honey-Lemon butter.

  3. When loaf is done, turn out, slice and serve hot with Honey-Lemon Butter
