  3. 88.74 ml brown sugar

  4. 2.46 ml vanilla

  5. 236 1/29 ml flour , plus

  6. 29 1/28 ml flour

  7. 2.46 ml baking powder

  8. 2.46 ml salt

  9. 0 1/29 ml salt

  10. 1 egg

  11. 118 1/59 ml brown sugar , packed

  12. 170.09 g package chocolate chips

  13. 118 1/59 ml chopped walnuts

  14. 4.92 ml vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Cream margarine, sugars, and vanilla; beat in egg.

  3. Sift and stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Spoon into 12 well-greased or paper-lined muffin cups.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes; remove from oven.

  6. For topping: combine in small bowl salt, egg, and brown sugar.

  7. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and vanilla.

  8. Spoon over hot cupcakes.

  9. Return to oven and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Immediately remove from muffin pan and cool on a wire rack.
