  1. 680 g venison steaks

  2. 1/4 tsp. salt

  3. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  4. 2 cups crushed saltine crackers

  5. 3 large eggs, beaten to blend

  6. 1 cup milk

  7. vegetable oil

  1. Pound steaks with a mallet until about 1/2 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk together eggs and milk in a large bowl. Place crushed crackers in another large bowl. Pour oil in a large deep skillet to a depth of 1 inch. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Coat tenderized venison steaks with egg mixture then dredge in crushed crackers. Fry steaks in hot oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
