  1. 3 pound boneless chuck roast or 3 pound loin roast

  2. 1/2 cups of Ketchup

  3. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

  4. 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

  5. 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

  6. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  7. 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring

  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  10. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  11. 1/4 teaspoon oregano

  1. Place rast in the crock-pot slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour barbecue sauce mixture over roast. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Remove roast from crock-pot slow cooker; shred meat with fork. Place shredded meat back into crock-pot slow cooker. Stir meat to evenly coat with sauce. Spoon meat onto sandwich buns and top with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
