  1. 1/2 cup 118ml Extra-virgin olive oil

  2. 4 tablespoons 60ml Butter - (1/2 stick)

  3. 6 Garlic cloves - thinly sliced

  4. 8 Anchovy fillets - (to 10) - patted dry, and finely chopped

  5. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  1. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and anchovies. Cook gently for 5 minutes, until garlic is fragrant (but not brown). Add pepper to taste. Transfer to a hot pot or heated dish and serve with vegetables.
