  1. 1 pounds Round steak; cubed

  2. 2 tablespoons Oil

  3. 1 cup Water

  4. 1 Bay leaf

  5. 1 teaspoon Salt

  6. teaspoon Red pepper flakes; to taste

  7. 16 ounces Kidney beans; canned, drained

  8. 1 cup Rice; raw

  9. 2 mediums Green pepper; chopped

  10. 1 medium Onion; chopped

  11. 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  12. 1 teaspoon Curry powder

  13. teaspoon Pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Brown beef in oil in skillet. Add water, bay leaf, salt and red pepper. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Drain beef, reserving broth. Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid and pour all ingredients into 2 quart casserole dish, cover and bake in oven for 50 minutes.
