  1. 4 1/2 - 5 lb Frying Chicken , cut up

  2. 2 pkg Water

  3. 1 cup Chopped Onion

  4. 1 cup Chopped Celery

  5. 1 cup Chopped Parsley

  6. 1 Bay Leaf

  7. 2 tsp Salt

  8. 1/2 tsp Pepper

  9. 1/4 tsp Poultry Seasoning , if desired

  10. 5 Carrots , cut into 1/2" slices

  11. 1 cup Wide Noodle , uncooked

  12. 12 oz. can Corn , undrained

  1. in large kettle, mix chicken, water, onions, celery, parsley, bay leaf, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Heat to boiling; cover and simmer about 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken; cut meat from bone. Skim off fat and return meat to soup. Add carrots, corn and noodles. Bring to boil. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender. Remove celery leaves and bay leaf before serving. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley. Serves 8
