  1. 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix (or lemon cake mix)

  2. 1 egg

  3. 1/2 cup melted butter or 1/2 cup margarine

  4. 8 ounces softened Cream Cheese

  5. 1 lb powdered sugar

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Spray 13X9 inch pan with Pam.

  3. Mix cake mix, 1 egg and 1 stick melted margarine.

  4. Press into bottom and spread a little up sides of pan.

  5. Topping.

  6. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth and creamy, about two to three minutes.

  7. Spread over cake mixture evenly.

  8. Bake until light brown, 30 to 40 minutes.

  9. Cool completely before cutting with a sharp knife.
