    1. 2 tb (1/4 stick) butter

    2. or margarine

    3. 1 Traditional chex party mix

    4. seasoning pack

    5. 4 c Favorite cereals

    6. rice and/or wheat)

    7. 1/2 c Peanuts

    8. 1/2 c Pretzel sticks

    1. MICROWAVE: In lagre microwave safe bowl melt margarine on high 30-45 seconds.

    2. Stir in seasoning pack.

    3. Gradually add cereals, nuts and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.

    4. Microwave on high 3-3 1/2 minutes, stirring every minute.

    5. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.

    6. STore in airtight container.

    7. CONVENTIONAL: Preheat oven to 225 degrees.

    8. In a 2 quart baking dish melt margarine in oven.

    9. STir in seasoning pack.

    10. Gradually add cereals, nuts and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.

    11. Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

    12. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.

    13. Store in airtight container.
