  1. 1 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup milk

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 4 eggs

  5. 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

  6. 2 medium unpeeled tart cooking apples, thinly sliced (2 cups)

  7. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 2 teaspoons freeze-dried chives

  8. 2 tablespoons sugar

  9. 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz)

  1. Heat oven to 450ºF. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. In medium bowl, beat flour, milk, salt and eggs with wire whisk until smooth; pour into baking dish. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until puffy and golden brown.

  2. Meanwhile, in 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook apples and chives in butter, stirring frequently, until apples are tender. Stir in sugar.

  3. Spoon apple mixture onto pancake. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake about 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted.
