  1. Wash poha and boiled rice and soak it in the buttermilk along with the required amount of salt. Soak it for about 14 to 16 hrs and grind the mixture along with the soked buttermilk to form a dosa batter. Mix the batter with cooking soda and make it into a thick dosa ( like utthappam) in a pan with a covered lid and cook till it is done.Sponge dosai is ready.
