  1. Lean beef chuck 5 Pound , ground

  2. Lean beef roast 1 Pound , chopped finely

  3. Lean bacon 1 Pound , smoked

  4. Whole wheat burger buns 8 Medium , divided in halves

  5. Salt To Taste

  6. Pepper To Taste

  7. Garlic granules To Taste

  8. Olive oil 4 Tablespoon

  9. For topping

  10. Reduced fat low sodium cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , shredded

  1. Directions GETTING READY –

  2. On a smoker, over indirect flame, place the lean smoked bacon and cook for about an hour. Chop and set aside.

  3. MAKING –

  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef chuck, lean roast beef, salt, pepper, garlic, cheese, and smoked bacon. Mix well, divide into equal portions and shape into patties.

  5. On a hot griddle, place the patties over medium heat, cover and sear on both sides until done.

  6. Place each patty on one half of the bun, sprinkle more cheese on top of patties, cover with the other half of burger bun and grill until cheese melts.

  7. SERVING 5. Serve hot.
