  11. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  12. 8 ounces sliced mushrooms

  13. 1 bulb anise or fennel, trimmed and thinly sliced

  14. 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  15. 1 clove garlic, finely minced

  16. Salt and pepper to taste

  17. 1 (10-inch) prepared pizza crust

  18. 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  19. 1/2 pound peeled, deveined and cooked shrimp

  20. 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Havarti cheese

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms, anise, onion and garlic until softened, but still crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain.

  2. Spread pizza crust evenly with pizza sauce. Distribute vegetables over sauce. Arrange shrimp on top of vegetables and top with Havarti.

  3. Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 20 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

  4. Cool 5 minutes before cutting into serving pieces.
