  1. 3 cups flour

  2. 2 cups sugar

  3. 2/3 cup cocoa

  4. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

  5. 3 tsp. soda

  6. 1 cup milk

  7. 1 cup salad oil

  8. 2 eggs

  9. 2 tsp. vanilla

  10. 1/2 cup boiling water

  11. Filling:

  12. 2 T. flour

  13. 1/2 cup milk

  14. 1/2 cup sugar

  15. 1/2 cup Crisco

  16. vanilla (to taste)

  1. Beat together sugar and oil; add eggs.

  2. Mix dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture.

  3. Beat well.

  4. Add boiling water.

  5. Beat well.

  6. Pour into cupcake cups.

  7. Bake @ 350 degrees fro 15-18 minutes.

  8. Cool.

  9. Filling:

  10. Put flour and milk in a jar and shake.

  11. Pour into a pan and cook over low heat until thick.

  12. Cool. -very important!

  13. Put into mixing bowl.

  14. Add sugar, Crisco and vanilla.

  15. Beat until fluffy.

  16. Cut cone out of the top/middle of cupcake.

  17. Fill with filling (use a pastry tube) until you feel it expand.

  18. Frost with chocolate frosting.
