  1. 250 gm green peas (boiled)

  2. 100 gm paneer pieces

  3. 2tbsp tomato puree

  4. 1tsp tamarind pulp

  5. 1/4tsp turmeric powder

  6. 1/2tsp garam masala powder

  7. 1tsp red chili powder

  8. Salt as per taste

  9. 1/2tbsp ghee

  10. 1/2tbsp oil

  11. Paste:

  12. 4-5 garlic flakes

  13. 1 piece ginger

  14. 1 green chili

  15. 1tsp cashew nuts

  16. 2 onions (medium size/chopped)

  17. 1/2tbsp poppy seeds

  18. 1 cardamom

  19. 1tsp cumin seeds

  1. First pressure cooks the green peas till 2 whistles

  2. Make a paste with garlic flakes, ginger, green chili, cashew nuts, onions, poppy seeds, cardamom and cumin seeds

  3. Now heating up oil and ghee together in a pan

  4. Put the paneer pieces in the hot oil

  5. Fry them till they turn golden brown in color

  6. Now remove the paneer

  7. Add the paste masala now in the same oil

  8. Put salt, garam masala, turmeric and red chili powder and mix well

  9. Cook them till the oil separates from the oil

  10. When the masala is done add the tomato puree and mix well

  11. Now add the boiled green peas and mix well

  12. Cook for a few minutes

  13. Now add the tamarind pulp and mix well

  14. Cook for one minute and add the fried paneer

  15. Mix well and cook for few minutes

  16. Mutter paneer is ready

  17. Garnish it with coriander leaves
