  1. For Brownies:

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Combine the butter and unsweetened chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat. Melt, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and cool chocolate 5 minutes. Mix the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and flour until combined. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake brownies about 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Transfer brownies to a rack and cool completely.

  3. For Frosting:

  4. Beat together butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies. Cut brownies into 24 squares.

  5. For Spiders:

  6. Place chocolate chips in a small saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate into a small pastry bag fitted with a small plain decorating tip. Pipe the melted chocolate in crisscrossing lines on each brownie to form the spider web. Place 1 jelly bean on 1 side of each web. Pipe 8 chocolate legs on each jelly bean to form spiders. Let brownies stand about 30 minutes until chocolate is set before serving. Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature.
