  1. 5 cups water

  2. 2 tablespoons rounded, of black tea 3 cups nonfat milk or 3 cups soy milk

  3. 1/3 cup honey

  4. 4 sticks cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  5. 5 whole cloves or 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

  6. 1 bay leaf

  7. 6 whole cardamom pods, green or black or 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

  1. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Strain.
