  1. 1 3/4 pounds beef chuck roast or round, cubed

  2. 1/3 cup flour, all-purpose

  3. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  4. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  5. 1/2 each onion chopped

  6. 1 clove garlic minced

  7. 2 3/4 cups water boiling

  8. 28 ounces tomatoes, canned

  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  10. 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

  11. 1 pinch basil

  12. 1 pinch dill weed

  13. 1 pinch thyme

  14. 4 medium potatoes quartered

  15. 2 each onions quartered

  16. 1 pound carrots cut into 2 inch pieces

  17. 1 cup green peas

  1. Combine flour, pepper, and salt in bag.

  2. Add meat and shake til coated.

  3. Heat oil in Dutch oven . Brown meat on all sides. Add onion, garlic, water, tomatoes, salt, and worcestershire.

  4. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 2 hours, until meat begins to get tender.

  5. Add potatoes, onions, and carrots.

  6. Cook 30-45 mins, until vegetables are done.

  7. Add peas. Cook until heated.
