  1. 2 Cups Basmati Rice

  2. 2 Cups Milk

  3. 2 Cups water

  4. 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)

  5. 4 Tbsp Clarified Butter(Ghee)

  6. 4 Tbsp Oil

  7. 1/4 Tsp Crushed Pepper corns

  8. 1/4 Tsp Cumin

  9. 1/2 Tsp Sugar

  10. 1 Tbsp Salt

  11. 10 Cashew nuts

  12. Raisins

  13. 2 Green Chillies

  14. 1 Sprig Curry leafs

  15. Bayleaf

  16. 1 Inch Cinnamon

  17. 2 Cardamom pods

  18. 4 Cloves

  1. Wash the basmati rice.

  2. Heat a pressure cooker and add 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp clarified butter and add the rice and fry for a min add Milk and water add salt and sugar bring to a boil cover and place the whistle and cook for 4 mins.

  3. Heat a wok and add 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter and add the bayleaf, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves and fry add the onions and fry add the cumin, raisins and cashew fry till the onion goes to a light gold color add the curry leaves,chilles and crushed pepper and fry.

  4. Chill the rice after cooked and add to the fried onion masala mix well and fry the rice...serve hot with any gravy or boiled eggs...Enjoy...:)
