  1. 2 pound chuck roast

  2. 1 tablespoon oil

  3. 1 pound potatoes quartered

  4. 4 carrots cut into 1" slices

  5. 1 white onion chopped

  6. 2 teaspoons beef bouillon

  7. 2 cups hot water

  8. 1 tablespoon crushed thyme

  9. 1 clove garlic

  10. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  11. 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  12. 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

  1. Place potatoes, carrots, onion salt and pepper in crock pot.

  2. Brown roast on all side sin oil then place on top of vegetable.

  3. Sprinkle with more salt and pepper.

  4. Mix bouillon, water, thyme and garlic then pour over roast.

  5. Sprinkle with hot pepper sauce then cook on low for 10 hours.
