  1. 1/2 c. butter

  2. 6 tbsp. brown sugar

  3. 6 tbsp. sugar

  4. ADD --

  5. 1 c.

  6. 2 tbsp. flour

  7. 1/2 tsp. baking soda

  8. 1/2 tsp. salt

  9. Beat above until thick.

  10. FILLING:--

  11. 1/2 c. brown sugar

  12. 1 egg

  13. 1/8 tsp. salt--

  14. ADD:--

  15. 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

  16. 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

  17. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  1. Spoon batter into paper lined tins evenly dividing between 12 cupcakes.

  2. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven.

  3. Spoon filling into each cup equally dividing among cupcakes. Bake again for about 15 minutes.
