  1. 2 tbsp olive oil

  2. Knob of butter

  3. 1 onion, finely sliced

  4. 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  5. 500g turkey breast, sliced

  6. 1 tbsp plain flour

  7. 250ml cider

  8. 250ml chicken stock (from a stock cube), hot

  9. 2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

  10. 500g new potatoes, halved

  1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and gently fry for 5 minutes until soft.

  2. Add the turkey slices and cook to brown all over. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute before adding the cider, stock and thyme leaves.

  3. Add the potatoes, season and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender. Serve with seasonal veg.
