  1. 1/2 cup sugar

  2. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  3. 3/4 cup vegetable oil

  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  5. 1 each egg

  6. 1 cup flour, all-purpose

  7. 1 cup oatmeal

  8. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 1 cup chocolate chips*

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Combine sugars, oil, egg, and vanilla.

  3. Stir in dry ingredients and chips.

  4. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheets for 10 minutes.

  5. Remove form sheet and cool.

  6. Make about 2 dozens.
