  1. lamb (1/2 inch, cubed) 1 lb.

  2. chana dhal 1/4 cup

  3. onion, chopped 1

  4. green peppers 3

  5. 1/4 cup chili powder

  6. 1/4 tsp.

  7. coriander powder 1/2 tsp.

  8. egg 1

  9. cloves 4

  10. cardamom 2

  11. cinnamon 1 piece

  12. salt 1 tsp.

  13. ginger 1/2 inch

  14. garlic 4 cloves

  15. water 1/2 cup oil for frying

  1. Mix first 12 ingredients and pressure-cook for 6-7 minutes.

  2. Blend in a food- processor or blender with egg into coarse paste adding a little water if needed.

  3. Make paste into 15 balls, flatten and deep-fry until both sides are golden brown.
