  1. 200g caster sugar

  2. 3 tablespoons plain flour

  3. 500g sliced fresh strawberries

  4. 375g diced rhubarb

  5. Crumble topping

  6. 200g plain flour

  7. 225g dark brown soft sugar

  8. 250g butter

  9. 80g rolled oats

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas mark 5.

  2. In a large bowl, mix caster sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, strawberries and rhubarb. Place the mixture in a 22x33cm baking dish.

  3. Mix 200g flour, brown sugar, butter and oats until crumbly. You may want to use a pastry blender for this. Crumble on top of the rhubarb and strawberry mixture.

  4. Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until crisp and lightly browned.
