  1. 2 lb. Fresh Tender Okra Pods

  2. 5 each Cloves Garlic, Peeled

  3. c

  4. Water

  5. Celery Seed

  6. 5 each Hot Red/Green Peppers

  7. 1 qt Distilled Vinegar

  8. 6 T

  9. Pickling Salt

  10. 1 T

  11. Mustard Seed

  1. Wash Okra and pack into clean jars with screw tops.

  2. Into each jar put 1 red or green hot pepper and 1 clove garlic.

  3. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and pour over the okra, filling the jars to overflowing.

  4. Seal while hot and let age for 2 months before using.

  5. Makes 5 pints
