  1. 1 Cup candy-coated chocolate pieces

  2. 1 1/2 C all purpose flour

  3. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 Cup butter or marg, softened

  6. 1/3 C granulated sugar

  7. 1/3 Cup packed brown sugar

  8. 1 egg

  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  10. Preheat oven to 350 F

  11. Reserve 1/2 C candies for decorating; coarsely chop remaining candies and set aside.

  12. In 2 qt bowl beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt, mix well. Stir in chopped candies.

  13. Place dough on the center of stone and using lightly floured roller roll out dough to 11" circle. Decorate with reserved candies.

  14. Bake 16-18 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Carefully loosen cookie from stone with bread knife. Cut into wedges to serve.
